Refund Policy
REFUND POLICY

This Refund Policy (“Policy”) is issued by PawsBuddy, operated by Yasha Terra Ventures, having its registered office at 603, Shri Ram Enclave, Chowraha, Chh. Sambhajinagar, hereinafter referred to as “PawsBuddy,” “we,” “us,” or “our.” This Policy governs the terms under which refunds shall be processed for transactions conducted through the PawsBuddy platform (“Platform”).
This Policy is formulated in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and applicable rules thereunder.
- Scope
This Policy applies to:
- Veterinary consultations booked via the Platform.
- Veterinary food products and supplies purchased via the Platform.
- Any ancillary services offered through PawsBuddy.
- Refund Eligibility
Refunds shall be considered under the following circumstances:
- a) Veterinary Consultations
- Cancellation by Doctor: Full refund to the client.
- Cancellation by Client: Full refund if cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled consultation. No refund thereafter.
- Service Not Rendered: Full refund if consultation did not take place due to platform error or doctor unavailability.
- b) Veterinary Food Products
- Defective/Damaged Products: Refund or replacement upon verification.
- Incorrect Product Delivered: Full refund or replacement.
- Expired Products: Immediate refund upon proof of expiry.
- Non-Delivery: Full refund if product not delivered within stipulated time.
Return shipping costs shall be borne by the user.
- c) Non-Refundable Items
- Products opened, used, or tampered with.
- Services already rendered.
- Promotional or discounted items, unless defective.
- Refund Process
- Refund requests must be submitted via email to support@pawsbuddy.in or through the Platform within 03 days of transaction.
- Verification of claim shall be conducted within 02 working days.
- Approved refunds after all deductions/taxes paid shall be processed within 05 working days via the original payment method.
- Refund confirmation shall be communicated to the User via email/SMS.
- Refunds shall be processed inclusive or exclusive of GST as applicable and in compliance with GST laws. Any GST already remitted shall be adjusted as per statutory provisions.
- Obligations of Users
- Users must provide accurate transaction details, receipts, and supporting evidence.
- Users must cooperate with verification procedures.
- Misuse of refund claims may result in suspension of account.
- Obligations of PawsBuddy
- Ensure fair and transparent refund processing.
- Maintain records of refund transactions for audit purposes.
- Provide timely communication regarding status of refund requests.
- Limitation of Liability
- PawsBuddy shall not be liable for delays caused by banking institutions or payment gateways.
- Refunds shall not exceed the original transaction amount.
- Indirect or consequential losses are excluded.
- PawsBuddy acts as a facilitator between users and veterinary professionals/sellers and shall not be liable for professional advice or product quality beyond refund obligations stated herein.
- Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising hereunder shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in [City], India.
